Pregnancy nesting? What’s that?!

I’m 23+3 week pregnant and honestly I’d rather sleep than do anything else 😫 I’m getting comments like “I bet your nesting has started” erm actually no... I find any reason to go and sleep 🙄 please tell me I’m not the only weirdo that would rather sleep than clean 😂

I go back and forth! Some days all I do is clean clean clean and get things ready for baby. Others, I’m taking a nap the minute I get a chance! It might not kick in for you until WAY later, closer to your due date. I had a friend that didn’t start nesting until the week before she gave birth lol. It happens differently for everyone 😋

I know. My friend colleagues go on about I’ll start cleaning everything. I’m like nah, bed and Netflix 😂

Same. I’ve only had one day where I wanted to clean etc. every other day I’m super tired!

I want to clean.... but I want sleep more!! Between two dogs, working, taking care of our daughter, I am pooped 24/7!! I have slacked so much when it comes to cleaning... my husband doesn’t help either (occasionally he’ll do the dishes). So my house is nowhere baby ready! Drives me crazy, I just don’t have the time or energy....

Same...second pregnancy has been a whooole other ball game. I don’t think I’m ever going to get the same burst of energy  I had the first time around, chasing around a toddler while growing a baby is exhausting!

I guess the other day I was cleaning a little more intense then usual and my husband like “wee bit of nesting” however we had company coming for weekend and I was literally washing everything down

I literally just turned to my partner and said “I don’t know if I’ll be nesting... good thing you’re nesting for both of us!”  Our home definitely would look like trash if it weren’t for him 😅
