I’ve recently had an ultrasound scan which showed that I have a large number of cysts on both ovaries, one of which is quite large (10cm VOLUME not size!) and I’m totally freaked out. My doctor is sending me for blood tests to confirm PCOS because we’ve been TTC (well just not preventing) for 18 months and nothing has happened yet.

I’m 33 years old and I’m totally freaking out that I’ve got these cysts and I can’t control what is happening in my body.

I’m also scared that if it isn’t PCOS, is it something worse??! My doctor hasn’t mentioned anything more sinister so I feel like I shouldn’t be concerned but I’m also a severe hypochondriac and I always turn to worst case scenarios.
