What’s in your hospital bag?

I’ve already packed mine and baby’s but I’m curious what you ladies have packed or recommend. Due September 5th!

For me: nursing tanks, nursing cover, massive underwater, couple pairs of always discreet, nipple cream, nursing pads, two nursing bras, a pair of comfy socks, cozy going home clothes, pajamas, slippers, two 10ft charging cords, slippers, and basic toiletries. Oh and a pair of slides to walk around the hospital in. I also brought my tucks pads, perinal spray, and dermoplast but I know they’re provide a lot of that. Day of I’ll grab an extra blanket for my husband and my Bobby pillow
For baby: a few sleepers in newborn and 0-3, couple diapers just in case, a couple of swaddles, couple of top knot hats, binkie, blanket. 
I was determined to not overpack and only bring our small carry on suitcase for all 3 of us and we managed to fit everything in. Amazon packing cubes helped a lot with that!

I packed mine last week. I’m bringing
- two sets of robes and pjs that work for nursing (our hospital keeps us for two days after the birth, so brought two sets)
- slippers and a couple pair of socks
- flip flops for the shower (same color as my going home dress)
- I had some leggings and a loose nursing top to go home in, but I traded them for a dress, just in case I end up with a c section (this was on recommendation of a friend)
- toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, minimal makeup, dermoplast, chapstick, deodorant, lotion and toothbrush/toothpaste)
- birthing/labor dress (I am being induced early for blood pressure and my doctor said that it might take up to two days from induction to birth, so I figured I could wear my own clothes for part of it)
- two nursing bras and loose underwear (plus a couple pair of disposable underwear)
- SNACKS (dried fruit, nuts, chocolate granola bites, Lara Bars, couple protein bars)
- breast feeding stuff (lanolin, nursing pads, nursing pillow)
- long phone charger
- matching outfit for myself and baby - my husband will coordinate (my mom is a photographer and wants to do a photo shoot in the hospital ❤️)
- if I get my breast pump in before my induction (I can only order 30 days in advance of my due date, per my insurance, but am being induced at 37 weeks), I will take it for the lactation consultant to help me know that I am doing things right so that my milk supply doesn’t go down 
For baby, I packed
- two outfits of each size (nb and 0-3)
- a couple basic white onesies and pants, just in case
- two hats
- receiving blanket, swaddle and burp cloth
- diapers and wipes (in the car)
- car seat
- warm blanket for the ride home
For both:
- some plastic bags and large ziploc baggies to put dirty clothes (I would rather have them washed at home)
I know it sounds like a lot, but this is my first baby and I don’t know what to expect!

I packed a blanket and pillow because the ones at the hospital suck. 
Towel because the towels at the hospital is also so thin and tiny just not adequate.

This is my 4th pregnancy, so I've had a few tries to get it right.
I know I'm staying home until the last minute, so during labor, I'll shower and change into my going home outfit before going to the hospital. 
For me: clean bra, undies, socks, lounge pants, big comfy tee shirt, extra charger, something unplugged to do (book, crossword, coloring, etc), toiletries (deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrush, hairbrush and ties),
For beau: swim trunks for water birth, gum/mints, etc. Probably not going to do clothes for him bc he has to go home for the other kids tho. 
Of course a couple outfits for baby, one nb size and one 0-3 size just in case she's small or big. Hospital gives harsh and blankets and diapers and all that, so I'm just going to use what they have.
Make sure the carseat is available or already installed, and a blanket or cover inside the seat to use on the way home.

This sounds like a lot but it all fit in a small carry on (other than the boppy). I decided against bringing our own towels, pillows and blankets because it’d be a lot to schlep to a NYC hospital. 
I’ll probably also leave a diaper bag in the car with some diapers and wipes for the trip home.
