Hey ladies, so I’m just going to be the first to admit that I should’ve done my own research prior to getting the birth control shot. My SO and I have a 8month old now and agreed we’d start trying for another when she’s 1. However, 2 months ago I got my first and only dose of the shot because I had crazy side effects with the pill. We both planned on having this baby right before our daughter turns 2, but now I’m finding out that the depo takes up to 10months to fully leave your system and I’m worried now! I just wanted to hear some stories. Has anyone gotten pregnant after using the shot, and if so how long did it take for you to conceive?
