3 months old and still has cradle cap?

Is there any way to heal it or does it go away on its own?

Cradle cap will usually resolve itself.
If it's really bad or you want to help it along, put some coconut oil on it and allow to sit for 15 minutes. Shampoo out and use a comb to gently lift the flakes out.

I used selsun blue and it cleared up in two or three washes.  Also used a comb to help with the flakes.  Good luck.

I used baby oil. I put it on halfway through the day so then when she got a bath that night it would just wash right off

My little girl has abit of cradle cap left she’s 8.5months but because she got loads of hair you can’t see it. I brush her hair with a comb when I’ve applied conditioner to her hair. It comes off easily enough like that. 😊

You can use a shampoo in the bath and rub your hand gently on it or take a washcloth to rub it. Then you can take a baby brush or comb to loosen it and then rinse. You can probably find some moisturizer or ask the doctor about using petroleum jelly (vaseline) on it. Some people use baby oil too.
