I’m in need of advice or tips or whatever. Do any of you have a dog that is territorial with treats when it comes to other dogs in your home? How do you deal? Do you worry about your child/baby?

I have a 55lb dog who is the best dog and I have. 10lb dog who is my guy and they do so well together 98% of the time. But on random occasions they’ll get treats and a fight breaks out. Today this happen and it resulted in my 10lb dog being brought to the vet. They have been living together for 3 years and have gotten in 2 major fights.

Today I had a complete meltdown because all I can think is I have to rehome my dog because what if she hurts the baby.

She loves the baby and has never shown aggression towards people and we can take things right out if her mouth. My little dog is just as bad the thing is he’s smaller. But part of me is like if one can do it so can the other and the little one has actually shown aggression towards people because he gets anxious but not the baby.

My husband and I know if it comes down to it we have to rehome her we will but I would love some tips or whatever you have . We’re thinking we can’t give treats or food unless they’re in their crates so that would avoid issues between them and the possibility of the the baby trying to touch their food
