As long as they aren't peeing and pooping on the floor by the baby it isn't a problem. Having pets can actually prevent other health problems from developing and strengthens the child's immune system, again assuming they are bathed regularly and potty trained.

Unless they're allergic and the dog is good with kids I would say it's perfectly fine! I see so many kids these days being horrible to animals and not knowing how to properly be around them, I will not have mine be the same so I am making sure that he has animals close to him while he grows up so he learns that you treat animals well, this is my little boy with my dog who absolutely loves kids and babies, he loves animals and is always trying to fuss them! When he sees dogs while we are out i usually ask the owner to see if they're friendly and if baby can meet the doggo 😂
