Starting letrozole ? Help!

I am getting ready to take letrozole for the first time and struggling to decide when to take it. I had to take progesterone to induce a cycle and have been spotting for three days now. Do I count the spotting and count today as day 3 of my cycle and take my first pill? Or wait until I have a full flow for three days ? Im nervous that the full flow won’t come 😬

If spotting is lighter than a typical period for you I would wait until your regular flow (and count that as cd1). My dr said if my period was off in any sort of way to take a pregnancy test prior to taking the letrozole to ensure I wasn’t pregnant.

I started taking mine on day 3 of my period not counting spotting. I took 2.5 my first try and got pregnant I’m 15.2 days now..really you just have time the days between taking the meds and having sex.
