Is it normal? Looking for advice FTM

My milk supply went from an ever age 2 oz every 3 hours or so to down to less than an oz. my son is 9 days old and does have some problems working for the milk so we’ve been pumping to supplement him with the breast milk. Advice??

Is he also latching or are you exclusively pumping?

You could try a bottle specifically for breastfed babies. Kiinde and Medela both make bottles that don’t flow unles the baby is sucking, this will make him work for the milk. 
Was he born 2 weeks early at 38? Now he should have developed his sucking reflexes to try and exclusively breast feed if that’s what you want. I would try to only breastfeed him without supplementing. You may need to feed him more often to bump up your supply to his needs so he gets full from the breast milk and doesn’t need formula anymore. 
And if you’re pumping after feeding try not to be discouraged if you only get half an ounce. Remember that he probably drained most of the milk already so half an ounce is actually an accomplishment!
