Is my husband over her or is he still trying to have an affair?
My husband developed a “friendship” with this girl that lasted about a year. The whole basis of their friendship was flirting to the point where they would send each other selfies and I suspect even sexting.
They stopped being “friends” because she got mad at him and kinda ghosted him. (I know all of this because I’ve just had access to his text messages)
Suddenly she came back and he’s pissed at her telling her that she’s horrible for deserting him but that he still wants to be friends. It seems like this girl agreed, but he says the following
“Does what I say make sense? I would like to be friends but it has to stay that way....”
And she goes on and agrees that friendship is all there will be.
An update to this story for those who have read this post before,
Then there’s some more arguing where she’s saying she thinks he’s not interested in the friendship because there’s no effort then he says “I’m interested but I’m busy with my kids, and I’m trying to make it work with my wife and that’s taking a huge amount of time. My kids need to see me happy or at least think that I’m”
Then two days passed and he asked her to get lunch, she agreed and they resume to normal conversation. They’re meeting is on Monday.
Should I confront him? Is he still trying to cheat or is he over her?
