When did you baby learn to drink out of a straw?

My son just turned 1 on the 27th of July and still has not figured out how drink out of a straw. Any tips?

My daughter was around 8 months. She loved to suck on her food pouches and I guess that same motion is used on straws ☺️

Get the honey bear on Amazon. It is used for feeding therapy. My son figured it out immediately once I got that! They squeeze the bear and the liquid goes up the straw.

My son was 1. I’d just keep offering it to him. He’ll learn eventually 😊

My son was closer to 2 when he finally mastered it. Just keep offering the straw, they'll get it
