He’s here!!!
My due date was 8/9/19, I spent the entire day with pains since (10:30am)Being it is my first time being pregnant I didn’t know if I was having actual contractions or if It was just false labor. I showered, cleaned up the house got everything in the car and did my hair between the pains lol. (Didn’t really think i was going to give birth) I had my husband come from work early just in case I was in actual labor. Well he ended up coming at 3pm and contractions slowed down and weren’t as intense. I spent the evening watching tv and had a small dinner. At 9pm I was in excruciating pain so I called my OB. He said to take some Benadryl and try to get some sleep. if it was active labor I wouldn’t sleep through it. So I took the Benadryl and tried to sleep on and off until 1am. By that time I couldn’t take it and woke my husband up. He was in such disbelief that he said he didn’t want to go just to come back home since he had work in 3 more hours. (Yes I almost murdered him lmao) we got out of bed and I called my doctor who told us to go to L&D. Our bags and car seat were already in the car so we just had to wash our faces and get dressed. I got there and was 3cm dilated and 90percent effaced. They said I can take a walk around the hospital to see if anything happens in two hours. Before I got up from the hospital bed to walk I felt light headed and was about to pass out. They decided to admit me just to be safe. Within the next two hours I went from 3 to a 9. Actual labor and pushing was 2 and a half hours. It was the most intense pain and I still can’t believe I went through it. I’m in bed at the hospital reliving every moment in my head. I did get the epidural which I think really messed up my lower back. I am having a hard time walking and getting out of bed because my back is in crazy pain. But the good news is baby boy Noah arrived a day after his due date at 8:34 am weighing 7lbs and 11oz. Can’t wait to add pictures very soon!! I’m so happy for all of us August mamas!!!
