I wasn’t sure where to post this so I figured here would be good because a good amount of people will see it.

So I’ve got bi polar disorder and some slight hearing sensory issues which make crowded social situations one hell of a time lol. I had it major as a kid and was able to sort of “get used to it” as my mom said. Well within these last few months it seems I hadn’t completely gotten used it and certain noises were sending my body into a panic big time. So my boyfriend offered to get me noise canceling headphones to try. And y’all omg!!! I’ve never not heard so much in my life. I never realized how much of my anxiety was hearing sensory related until I just didn’t hear the background noises anymore. So my recommendation for anyone with anxiety issues especially anxiety in big crowded places is to go to Best Buy and put on the tester pair and see how different it is. You might be surprised at how much it can help! I ended up get the cheapest ones which are the skull candy venue. I really wanted the Bose ones but they are $400 and that’s way too expensive for us right now. Anyways I just wanted to throw this out there because I never thought they’d help me but they did so yeah. Give it a shot!
