Well, I officially feel like the worst mom ever. We went to the beach yesterday with our LO (8 months) i covered her in sunscreen expect for her hands and face. She had a hat on the entire day and was in the covered beach tent with me most of the time. We played in this little pool like area, it was shallow and we let her sit for maybe 10-15 minutes, again she had the hat on the entire time. Apparently it wasn't enough because her sweet little cheeks got sun burned 😭😩 they were red and a little puffy yesterday evening and look better today but still red. I've been putting aloe on her, and pressing lightly with a cool rag. I called the pediatrician and am waiting for a call back to see if I should bring her in or what else we can do. Her cheeks arent warm and it doesn't seem to bother her at all but I feel terrible.

And on top of that, I went to feed her this morning and let her hold onto the squeeze pouch while I grabbed a spoon and she sucked some out for a second then she decided to hulk squueze it right onto her face and in her eye 🤦🏼‍♀️ picture of out sweet girl napping on me in the tent ❤️

UPDATE: she's good everyone! Put some aloe on her and it went away 🙂 for future reference I will definitely be applying to her face. Thank you so much everybody! Another picture because shes too adorable 😍
