My skin started peeling on the palm of my left hand over the weekend. Is this a symptom of something?

Happened to me a few weeks back lasted for about 2 weeks went away came back it was my finger tips first though looked crazy then my whole palm moisturize as much as you can mama

I’m not sure but mine was doing the same thing around my finger tips. I assumed mine was because I work in a hospital and the alcohol gel we have to use on our hands 5,000x a day dries them out really bad, I used a heavy duty lotion for several days and it went away.
