my son is about to start school he is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soy, eggs all animals and Alot of stuff outside. he got retested and his levels have tripled. I am scared to death that the school isn't going to be able to know if something is wrong in time. he is going to a private school but there are other classes without allergies that will eat nuts. I want him to be with kids but I am so scared I am having bad anxiety. I am nervous about taking my letters and lists to the parents at open house parents get so upset and mad and I know it's an inconvenience but people have to understand my child will go into anaphalactic shock if he eats nuts peanuts and cashews mainly but he could go into cardiac arrest and he could die. he doesn't talk good he has a speech delay so he won't be able to to communicate if something is wrong how can I trust strangers to do what I have trained my brain to do for the last 4 years. how can I trust my baby's life in a strangers hands 😭😭😭 idk what to do a little kid could bring candy without teacher knowing what if the classes come together to watch a movie or go to recess right after a kid eats peanut butter. my baby could die before the teacher ever realizes what is happening even knowing he is allergic they can't pay close enough attention at my stepsons school there's a no nut policy he takes wow butter every single day it looks just like peanut butter even smells like it. not one person has asked if it is peanut butter or said anything for all they care he could be putting someones life in danger. any one have any advice?
