Had sex one week ago w my husband using a brand of condom we don’t usually use (have used it once in the past but not our usual) Since then I had slight itching progressing to now full blown awful itching & dryness. The itching even extends almost to my upper inner thigh not just vaginal area. Called gyn today, was told it’s probably a yeast infection and to try monistat. However I have had one yeast infection in the past and it was NOTHING like this. Has anyone experienced similar w a yeast infection or something else? Also any remedies that helped?
