Possibly Intersex

My Beloved Baby is four and a half months old and their specialists are just now telling my that my child might be intersex.

We have follow up scheduled with the appropriate doctors. But I thought something like this would have been noticed much sooner?!?! I'm mostly just feeling a little confused. Has anyone else experienced this? Statistically it's about as common as red hair so I know I'm not alone.....
