Transitioning to crib.

So I want to try putting my LO (little one) in his crib tonight. Hes 7 1/2 weeks old. He has started thrashing and grunting in his sleep at night and it keeps me up ALL night long. I have his baby monitor charged and his owlet but I'm still nervous about him being in a room all by himself. I need some words of encouragement. Have you transitioned your LO (little one) yet? If so do you and your baby sleep better now? He ie currently in a pack n play next to our bed.
