Are you allergic to metal/fake earrings?

So I'm allergic to fake earrings. Like if I wear metal, alloy, or any cheap earrings my earring hole will hurt and bruise. But when I wear pure gold or white gold earrings I don't bruise. Wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this.

Yes, I paint the parts of my cheap earrings that touch my ears with clean nail polish so that my ears don’t break out.

Yep. I have a pretty serious nickel allergy to the point that I can hardly wear jeans because I’m allergic to the button and zipper in them 🤷‍♀️

My daughter is! 😏 we took her to Claire’s & she picked out so many cute ones only to have her ears swell up, we’ve since only brought her one pair of pink heart ones at Zales.. cause they are not cheap.. lol

I'm allergic to most cheap earrings but also silver makes me itchy too. I have a reaction to most metals as I'm allergic to nickle too (found out whilst getting acupuncture!) And copper gives me tiny little red bumps also
