Cleaning mouth?

My LO is 7 weeks are we supposed to be cleaning their mouths/gums?

Yes in order to avoid thrush and keep their mouth bacteria free. Just wipe their lips, inner cheek, gums, and tongue with a warm wash cloth

My pediatrician says to take a wet rag and wipe out their mouth like gums and young. I have been doing it since 2 weeks old

Yes to prevent them from accumulating buildup from milk and thrush. I clean my little one mouth once a day

I’m not 100% sure, but I think we start once their first tooth comes through.
