So me and bf where talking about how long we should wait for sex, (we was planning on doing it very soon, but then decided I wanted to wait longer)

So...

I said to him if I made u wait for months for sex would u leave, he straight replied with no hesitation “yeah I probably would” - I was absolutely fuming!!

I went mad at him and said I need space and asked him not to msg me for rest of the night, he replied saying I’m being pathetic for no reason and just being childish....

Please can ppl tell me who was in the wrong? Did I over react?

And what should I do now moving forward from this......
