Does conception happen right after sex bc I read sperm has to go thru capacitation which is about 7-10 hours and then it takes about 24 hours for the sperm to finish fertilizing the egg

With a simple google search you can find that it can take as little as a few minutes to as long as five days for sperm to fertilize an egg. Just depends on the sperm. Honestly it doesn’t do any good to try and figure that out because what’s important is implantation. Then after implantation your body can make enough HCG to detect a positive pregnancy test. Just like fertilization, implantation can take a few days....
