Any other first time moms relate??

I keep waiting for someone to tell me like what you do with a baby, some secret to taking care of them. But no, the hospital really gonna hand us a baby and send us on our way😂

Lol yes!! I’ve been watching YouTube videos like “newborn tips” “day in the life with a newborn” and they’ve been extremely helpful

The first several weeks are just spent loving on your little one, being a walking udder, changing diapers, learning his or her cries and what they mean, and if you're like me: hours of staring and wondering how in the hell you made something so dang perfect. Just listen to your instincts and do what feels right. You will be just fine and if you ever get stuck, theres a thousand videos and blogs to offer help...but honestly, you'll likely find what works best for your family may not fit any of those exactly.

Haha I feel the same way 😆 like dang everyone is so focused on the pregnancy I almost forget that I will be coming home with an actual baby 😅 I figure I’ll just alternate between feeding and changing diapers and then cuddling him in between! They don’t do much at the beginning anyway lol

It's very sobering to be honest...I left the hospital with my Son six days after he was born. Emergency cesarean. Sore as hell and scared shitless. That was Summer 2016. I'm due with my Second child late September. Hopefully I won't be as scared shitless this time.

We were so scared and clueless when we brought our first babe home. But I looked almost everything up like ‘how to bathe a newborn’ and stuff like that and found some very helpful YouTube videos and mom blogs. Newborns mostly sleep, eat, and poop/pee so you’ll mostly be feeding baby and changing diapers the first couple of weeks.

I remember when I brought my eldest home... I set him down in his bassinet and asked my mom “what do I do now?” 😂 luckily I’m having my third and know the ropes, but we all start somewhere!

Yup there is no instructions. You can find some good mommy vlogs on YouTube and stuff like that tho. I suggest joining a mommy and me group or eventaking parenting classes through your hospital ect if you feel the need.
