Dating and guy asks what do you want?

I have been talking to a guy for about 4 months now and he keeps asking me what do I want?  I answer but it seems to not be what he is looking for... what does this question really mean lol!?  Help!   Is he really looking for me to answer that I want commitment, long term, soulmate, my forever partner? Another baby?  Like I’m so confused...

She's gorgeous, a straight 10 but misses it because she's down on herself, down on her confidence. High maintenance ( love it ) tell me you're not? He replied with this, granted I’ve known him for 5 years and he knows my past and such too:
Biggest things I see in you are; has goals, hopes, and dreams. Some big some small, either way someone thinks they are all important. Has confidence, but is afraid to believe in it, or herself. Needs a little push over the hump, needs to feel independent, even though she maybe isn't ( that's ok) 😉. Ultimately she feels safe with Her dad, and she's looking for her own, swings and misses because she RUSHES it!

He said there has to be more, what more is he looking for!?
