Hello!! Still EBF.. I plan to wean some time shortly after his 1st birthday, but we’ll see! Knowing me I’ll go longer than that lol.. this is my first baby and so far breastfeeding has been really emotional for me. I feel like I’m going to be really sad when we are done... BUT I’m also wanting my independence back. Baby is very clingy to me and I NEVER go anywhere without him (he won’t take a bottle.) I’m also sick of nursing bras and pads and my hormones are sooo bizarre. I have theeee worst acne ever, no sex drive, etc. those things I would like to go away 😭

Em you’re so lucky!! I’m still BF my son, but my period came back exactly 8 weeks after he was born! We are going to BF at least until he hits 1 year, then slowly start weaning. LO loves his milk, and doesn’t show any signs of being ready to stop, even though he loves his solids too. As a stay at home mom, I still pretty much feed on demand.

👋🏼 EBF as long as he wants, it’s not hurting me or him! Also, i honestly never thought I would get this far so I’m very proud of it 😂

I'm not sure how much longer we will go with it, I'm not sure my supply is keeping up with her some days, but my husband told me even a few months ago that he never expected me to go this far with it and that he was proud of me because he knows how much it puts on me to be the only one who can feed her, and the one that has to be up with her each night. My first goal was 6 months, to make it another 2 months would be great, then we would transition after her birthday.

Still going strong.  I also never thought I would make it this far.  I want to get her to her first birthday and then go from there.  I had a oversupply for a long time, so for awhile I was ready to have my time back but now that my oversupply has regulated mostly pumping doesn’t take near as much time so I may go longer.   I am thinking of trying to get her through cold and flu season this upcoming year.

I had to pump for about 8 weeks when I went back to work for a short while but now that I’m home I EBF. I feel like I’m already producing less and less. Hoping to make it to 12 months. She’s not a fan or formula.

My daughter turned 10 months the 5th of August we are still ebf and I plan on going until 2. However things change so I'm taking it day by day and I hope my milk doesnt dry up before then ☺️
