Should I find out the sex of my baby before birth?

I’m so excited about this pregnancy and can not wait to find out the sex of my little bean. My due date is 01/01/2020 can I wait that long!

Completely a preference thing. There is no right or wrong.
I found out with my first two. I had a boy, then a girl. For my third, we decided to let it be a surprise. It was a boy! I had no preference, so it was a little anti climactic for me. I actually missed being able to bond during pregnancy and felt it was a surprise whether we found out at birth it at 20 weeks.
For our fourth and "final", I wanted to know ASAP so that I could know what our family would look like complete. I decided to do the NIPT test to find out early. Loved finding out that way, too! And it's a girl-- so thrilled to have 2-2.

I had my mid pregnancy scan today. I always suspected this baby was very active and with all that movement he took the decision out of our hands! As soon as the scan started he flipped over and showed us his boy parts! It was so obvious I couldn’t unsee it 😩. So no surprise for us. However, we are very happy and he’s growing so well!

the only reason i wanted to know was so i could say him/her instead of being like them, it or whatever else 😂😂 and plus it made it feel more real to my hubby

Really it's up to you, many folks like to know, it can be a wonderful surprise if you wait. We didn't find out for our first and plan not to find out this time either. It was so memorable having my husband announce to me as baby girl was born! It was fun to have folks taking guesses. Even the midwives and nurses were divided, gender wasn't listed in any of our charts or files. 
Another bonus was we didn't get flooded with clothes at the baby shower, lots of very useful gender neutral baby essentials.
This will be our last baby, husband kind of wants to know. Mostly to get gender disappointment out of the way if it's another girl (he really wants a son but will love another girl) We are considering him finding out but keeping everyone else, including me, in the dark. We'll see how that goes 😋

I’m due 1/2/2020! We’re so close! 
This is our 2nd pregnancy we lost of first baby early on to a miscarriage..it was devastating. Now we are 1/2 way and we are not finding out what we are having until baby comes. Literally EVERY person we tell this to CANNOT believe it because my husband and I are crazy control freaks and I am a SERIOUS over planner. There is something calming to me about giving up control when it comes to planning for a boy or girl. I can still plan every for everything surrounding the baby but being surprised by the sex and knowing that my husband and I are going to get that moment together when (s)he comes into the world just makes this whole pregnancy that much more exciting and special. 
It’s seriously just personal preference and I really don’t think that being a “planner” has anything to do with it. If it did I would know by now.

I voted no because although I want to find out my partner doesn’t, damn it! Not a chance I could keep it a secret without slipping up. 
He says there are few surprises in life so let’s have this one. I am totally with him in principal except I have no patience.

I would have loved to have waitied but with 3 other kids we needed to know the gender to shop effectively

Its personal preferance! I found out from the nipt test , hubby and I couldn't wait to find out. Plus I live being organised 😜
