My sister has this dry looking skin on her hand for years and now it’s spreading to her ears. It itches so bad she makes herself bleed. Doctors don’t know what it is & the cream they give her makes it worse. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this?

Eczema. Aveeno and steroid cream works well xx

It looks like food allergies which often over time result in eczema. I strongly suggest a dieaty panel. I knew my allergens that were attacking my body I cured mine on my arms.

Same for me. I’d get patches on the inner fold of my arm, behind my ears, sides of my nose, my scalp and eyebrows...it used to be so bad behind my ears that the skin would split open and bleed. As soon as I got a food allergy panel, and made those changes, it pretty much went away.

ive had it! it probably isn’t eczema, just a rash (maybe fungal rash?) keep it clean and dry, put a bandage on it w antibacterial cream at night and air it out during the day. if it gets worse pls go to a dermatologist! (advice coming from a nursing assistant, ive seen some nasty stuff like this!)

I had the same thing, it looks like scalp psoriasis. They gave me a shampoo for it but they also have cream.

It’s a fungal infection. I used to get it all the time behind my ears, my scalp, sides of my nose, my eyebrows... I personally got it because I had bacteria build up in my gut and a lot of food allergies I didn’t know about at the time. As soon as I got a handle on the food allergy thing, it pretty much went away. Maybe your baby has an allergy to the formula or whatever else. You can show the doctor and ask about formula that’s more sensitive to the tummy, could be a dairy allergy or something else, and I’d use eczema baby lotions and gentle baby shampoos for now.

it’s most definitely eczema. i had mine there in the third grade. it was so bad the whole back of my ear would split and peel. ugh! horrible times lol take the love bug to the dermatologist. once you get the right cream, it’ll go away in no time. 🖤
