conceiving

Hi so I need some advice. Ive been to my doctors to get an ultrasound and blood tests done and they can't find anything wrong so they say but I have irregular periods. To the point where sometimes I can bleed for 2 weeks straight or bleed for a week then not for two days then bleed again. I also had the rod (contraceptive) for 8 months which the entire time it was in my arm I had my period the ENTIRE time! Me and my partner of 2 years have been trying for 3 months and can't fall pregnant. It's not him as he already has a child from a previous relationship but it's really putting me down. What if I can't get pregnant? Is it possible that me having my period for 8 months straight could of affected my egg count?? :(

Sounds like your body/ hormones are out of wack. Try taking a good fertility vitamin/supplement and help get regular. Take some HPT’s to determine if or when you ovulate as well. Good luck!

I would also ask your doc why you get your period for two weeks at times etc. that’s not normal. Good luck 😊

Good question to ask your doc I’m not sure. But I think taking some fertility supplements and a good prenatal is a start. What did your doc recommend?

If it was the nexplanon you had girl I had to wait almost a year before I got pregnant and I stopped trying after 2 miscarriages before I went almost full term with my daughter. I had my daughter at 35 weeks. The nexplanon messes with hormones bad. Me and my boyfriend agreed we wouldn’t do birth control anymore because I’ve struggled to get pregnant it’s been since April since I got my implant out again and my periods are still wacky I’m 14 days late this month.
