PCOS?

Question

My doctor is suggesting I may have PCOS, however we have done multiple blood tests, ultrasounds etc and things seem “normal”. 
The only symptom I have after researching is the acne on my face - does anyone else have any experiences with PCOS with only symptoms of acne? 
I don’t quite understand PCOS yet.

Blood tests are enough to diagnose pcos, pcos can cause you to have more testosterone. I was diagnosed at the age of 12 because of having periods that lasted weeks on top of growing extra hair & acne. I don’t have diabetes, no cysts and I don’t have any fertility problems as I am pregnant for a second time with no medicine. I call my pcos mild because its just a cosmetic inconvenience some people get diabetes or need medicine to help with fertility

Do you have a family history of acne? You can have hormonal acne without having PCOS 
Maybe try change your diet, especially watch your sugar and dairy intake and see if that helps?

Not sure because it's quite unlikely that PCOS doesn't display other symptoms. How old are you? Has your period come yet? If it's been only once, it's kinda hard to say. I got my first period when I was 14 but I was diagnosed with PCOS a year and half later. I don't think blood tests reveal anything about it but ultrasounds should. And my cysts were visible. Also an enlarged endometrium. And...not once in my life, did I have one pimple or acne. Zero. PCOS runs in my family but nobody had acne ever.

Thanks for your help, I’m 27 and have had periods since 13. I was on the pill for a long time and my periods were regular until I came off the pill about five years ago, which is expected. They are regular now and I do not get any pain at the time of month etc. and she never mentioned any cysts in the ultra sound, the report would have mentioned cysts , would they?
