Can a person eat a food without getting food poisoning while another person does?
I just woke up and my mom has food poisoning while I feel perfectly fine. The only thing she ate that I didn’t was potato chips (?). We had coffee (her: hot, me: iced) some fruit (which I ate), and tuna salad (which we both ate), and a smoothie she has a lot (she drank, but we’ve never had bad effects). We also both had ice cream bars, same kind from the same box.
So...potato chips? That sounds pretty unlikely and I would rather not make myself sick. Is it a possibility that my immune system just took care of it?
