Is it normal to get denied medical insurance because I won’t put my baby’s father on child support? I’m 19, I don’t work since I’m just home taking care of my 1 year old..

Yeah it can be. They want to hold him responsible for the child and when you receive county/state aid they automatically want to set you up with child support.

Depends on the state, but for the most part, yes. Medicaid has to be paid back and the way it’s done is through child support. They want both parents to take responsibility for the child. If he is in the home, he needs to be on the case and then they probably won’t file child support, but if he’s not in the home or one the case, it’s a requirement.

Yes it’s true. At least in my state. It happened to me. I had it, but they kicked me off for not cooperating with ors to put my sons father in child support. That was four years ago though. Now we go through ors for child support
