So I haven’t hung out with any female friends since ab 2 years ago. I honestly don’t have any except one. We text now and then and a couple ask me to hang out or gt the movies or get food and when I tell my bf he tell me our relationship comes first and that everyone is fake . I understand that our relationship we need to grow and worry ab us but it’s still nice to have female conversations & the whole thing ab having a friend. Mind you he has his own though. He talks to them almost every other day. They invite him to hang out or even cook outs and he calls them and everything. He even stops by to see them or they help each other out with things. If I tell him I want to stop by to see a friend or anything he makes an excuse why we can’t or that I shouldn’t talk to the person anyways. At the moment he sounds convincing but when I look back at the situation it doesn’t seem right. He tells me that if I want friends or even a friend I should take a break from our relationship and come back when I’m done with that phase. But honestly why would I want to not have a female friend to bond with or talk with. I don’t understand what’s really wrong. Also I want a tattoo (nothing inappropriate or huge) just something small & cute. I’m an artsy person btw. I told him I wanted one and he told his entire family & asked them their opinions. I don’t think that was appropriate considering it was ME telling only him and my parents. My parents said it’s okay but as long as I choose wisely & get it done professionally. (I’m 18 btw) he told me it wasn’t an attractive thing for a female to have even if it’s small and that he would leave me. Well fast forward to a couple months now and I’m still thinking ab this situation bc who the hell would leave a person u so called love over a tattoo or a friend or ANYTHING! So I play a joke on him and tell him I have a tattoo and he really believes me. He got mad but not as much as I honestly thought. He called me and told me I’m a liar & untrusting person but I didn’t take it to heart bc the list goes on about him😂🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m just a forgiving stupid person. Well he didn’t leave me so ig that’s good but I told him “ I thought you’d leave me if I got a tattoo?” And his response was “ I was just trying to persuade u to not get one” . Like SERIOUSLY who says that to someone. Great advice 🤔 well can anyone please give me some REAL advice on how to approach him ?!🤦🏻‍♀️😭
