I Have a Boyfriend but No Date to Homecoming

I’m in high school, my boyfriend isn’t— he dropped out to work full time because his mom got really sick, his dad was losing hours at work, and he has severe scoliosis & chiari malformation.

I want to be able to go to homecoming & prom (I’m a junior) but don’t want to seem selfish. He encourages me to attend school events but all of my friends have boyfriends and freshman year (I was single) was a total disaster.

What are some ideas/dates to do on homecoming night??
