The perfect Proposal? 💍

Question

My boyfriend and I have been talking rings, 
and marriage for a few months now. Last night he asked me what would be my perfect proposal and I just sat there. I’ve never honestly thought about it lol. 
  My question, can some of you share how your Significant other proposed to you?Or how you would like to be proposed too? Thanks❤️💍

So, my husband proposed to me in May of 2017 in our bed with the twist tie ring he made me on one of our early dates.
In November of 2017 we had finally saved enough money for him to get my engagement ring, and honestly he had so many big and exciting plans for a proposal- but my Dad was dying and I really wanted him there for that moment. He decided to propose in our living room with my parents there ♥️
It was beautiful, and I will literally ALWAYS cherish that memory because my Dad didn’t make it to our wedding.

I wanted to be proposed to just us then have my family and friends waiting somewhere after. 
My sister planned my 30th birthday weekend away. I didn’t know it was coming then. But we were exploring this area in North Conway nh and when we walked out on an old bridge I went to take a picture of the natural beauty and turned around he was down on one knee. Then my sister had everyone waiting for us to get back to our rented condo.

My family and his parents planned a trip to the beach for a family vacation and we got a beach house and everything for a week. Well once we booked it he secretly started planning a proposal behind my back. (Been together 8 years but he always told me he wanted to wait until our ten year anniversary so I honestly had no idea) He called my mom, dad and both my brothers to get their blessing And tell them his plan of how he wanted to do it. They all helped him to make it just how he wanted it. He then bought the ring and hid it in his office in our home for six months lol I was totally clueless. Well our last night at the beach we were all down in the water taking family pictures and he was patiently waiting for the sun to start setting and I couldn’t figure out why. Well on the last photo it was me and my nieces and my sister in law and while we’re taking the photo he snuck behind us so when I turned around he was kneeling in the water with the ring. The sun was setting just how he wanted it. It was so perfect and I was completely in shock. I never imagined he would plan out something so sweet.

We were on a hike to the top of Mount Monadnock. It was looking like it wanted to rain and I almost didnt make it all the way up, but he kept telling me we were almost there (we were not!!). When we finally got to the summit, we sat down with an amazing view and ate lunch. The clouds were coming in kind of fast and he kept asking me if i was almost done with my lunch and to be annoying i dragged it out a bit. Eventually I was done and he reached into his backpack, grabbed a ring pop out, and tossed it over to me and said "here's that ring youve been asking about" I laughed, figuring he was just joking around, and was about to open my ring pop when he was like "hold on, that one's mine". Still at this point i went to go hand it back to him because i figured he handed me the wrong flavor or something, and when i looked over with my hand out with the pop, he got down on one knee with a beautiful wooden ring box, and said "this one is for you, will you marry me?". I dont know how i didnt see it coming, but i had no freaking clue. I, of course, said yes! That was the longest hike down ever and all i wanted to do was call my family. Amazingly, too, some random lady saw this unfold and managed to snap a few pics of us and approached us after and sent them along to our emails. It was pretty amazing and absolutely would have been how I would have chosen to be proposed to had i any choice!
