Labia is dry & itchy?

Question

One day after my period had ended, the inside of my labia, lips, are red, itchy & dry.  I have used my husband's exfoliating soap, some feminine hygiene wash.  I am not lubricated either.  
Needless to say I am not in the mood for some honky tonk.
Why??  Please help?

It’s probably from the exfoliating soap. You should never use any harsh or scented soap on your vulva and shouldn’t wash anything but your vulva.

Why did you use those things down there?? I get dry and itchy after my period. Cause of the lack of cm to keep it moist ..
