Birth Control

My birth control has made my periods way heavier, I find myself having to change my tampon every hour or I will bleed through. Before birth control, the first day would be heavy and the rest of the days would be super super light with no cramps. Now, my cramps are god awful. My hips hurt, my lower back hurts, lower stomach, EVERYTHING. It’s miserable and I’ve never experienced this before I started taking birth control. Has this happened to anyone? What should I do?
