So I just started my period finally (8 weeks pp) but because my incision got infected twice it’s still tender and scabby and I’m wondering if I should just keep wearing pads until that’s fully healed? My OB didn’t mention anything about it at my 6 week postpartum check up, just asked if I was having sex and I said no and she said, ok then. I know I technically can use tampons cause it’s been past the 6 weeks but with all the complications I’ve had with my incision I’m debating on if I’d just be more comfortable wearing pads (even tho I hate them). Would you go ahead and use them or stick with the pads until everything is 100 percent healed?
