We tuck our little girl with us as she’s EBF to my husband uncles funeral. To be honest she was really good so had no problems with her, we left our older kids at my mums. She did put a lot of smiles on peoples faces, make a very sad day a little easier to manage everyone loves a smiling baby. 😊

I think what ever is best for you. If you want a chance to be totally focused on your last goodbye I would say either bring them and have someone watch them. Or leave them home so you know there is no worrying.

So sorry for your loss. I agree and there is no right answer. But one suggestion I would make is if you do decide to take your son/daughter, have someone planned that can take your child out of the service if they’re upset. I took my 6 month old to a funeral and had to step outside due to crying, I was devastated that I missed the service myself.
