Is it normal for my one year old to sweat profusely in his sleep? During naps and bed time.

He has beads of sweat on his face, and his hair is soaking wet at times. Is this normal or should I bring it up to his pediatrician?

It's normal to sweat but not that much and not everytime. Is his room too hot? Is he sleeping in hot clothes? Is the bedding making him hot? If not I would discuss this with the pediatrician

My 8yr old son is the same and has been all his life, hes not too hot or cold his paediatrician has said it's very normal and nothing to worry about just means he's a deep sleeper. Hes had all sorts of tests to rule out anything else like his thyroid ect maybe ask for a blood test just for peace of mind.

I voted yes it’s normal because my 2 year old has always done this and when i brought it up to my pediatrician they said it’s normal when she’s in a deep sleep.
This has happened when she’s in shorts and a tank in AC, long sleeve shirt and pants, either or clothing under a light blanket.. literally every option it always happens.

My son does this and has since he was about 9 months old. His doctor isn’t concerned and his dad has always done it too. I just keep very light pjs on him or just let him sleep in a pull-up.

My daughter sweat a lot in her sleep and I thought it was normal but it turns out I was over dressing her. I thought a footsie pajama in her sleep suit in a 69 degree room was fine but it was over heating her. So she actually sleeps naked most nights with her zipadee on! We also have a fan running in her room all night. We have AC but we can’t afford to crank it lol. So her room sits at about 72-74° now that it’s summer
