You take a test. You can’t have a period while pregnant. It’s impossible. You can have period like bleeding, but it’s not a Real period. 
You would have to test & then let dr know you had bleeding but a positive. If the test is negative, not pregnant

A pregnancy test will not tell you what's going on.
