I know this isn’t an app for stuff like this but nobody seems to be able to give me an answer so I was hoping some of you guys could help?

If my car is registered in a different state than where I am currently living and the registration is past due can I reregister it in my current state without paying the past due registration?

I’m new at all this crap and I don’t know what I’m doing but money is SUPER tight so if I can get away from paying the past due and/or just transfer the registration over without increasing the amount due that’d be perfect.
