Hi all! I just left my appointment and my cervix was measuring between 1.4-1.6 (from what I saw on the screen.) the dr said he wanted me to get a cerclage put in before it gets any shorter. I’m 16 weeks 5 days today and am scheduled for my surgery tomorrow. I’m pretty nervous, I just want it to hold him in. I’ve had a preterm delivery at 22 weeks and unfortunately lost my son. I’m scared that will happen again but hoping the cerclage and makena will keep him in tight. Has anyone had one? Was it successful? My cervical isn’t open just short so will this help?
