Backstory: me and my best friend of 8 years ended our friendship on TERRIBLE terms. The first year after ending, she made my life miserable. Was even caught saying she was on a mission to turn all of my friends against me.

This was 2 years ago.

Now, my best friend (the only friend who stuck by me, now my sister in law) has befriended this girl who basically tortured me emotionally.

Do I have a right to be upset/hurt?

I just can’t understand how my SIL could befriend someone who did what she did to her bff/SIL 😪
