Dentist question

Okay so this is embarrassing, but I haven't been to the dentist since I got my braces off, about 13 years ago.

I need to go, I know I'll need some work done. I have a hole in my top front tooth and probably some cavities. I just got a coupon in the mail for $99 for an exam, xrays and a cleaning.

My question is, if I do need a filling or anything like that (which I probably will) will they still do the cleaning? Or do you have to get everything fixed first?

I haven't gone in so long because I didn't have dental insurance for a while, and now I feel like they will judge me and give me a lecture on how I should have come in a long time ago😬
