Staying clean during period?

My shower has a detachable showerhead and I’ve been using that to clean down there on my period. Is it hygienic?

As long as you aren’t using any scented soaps or anything like that water is okay.

I use water wipes which are baby wipes without added scents and chemicals.

Assuming you aren't touching the shower head to your vulva, yes. Your vagina itself does not need to be cleaned (your body does it's own work!) but using mild soap on your vulva may help you feel cleaner.

I use eves feminine wash and also spray down there with a shower head. Never had an issue been doing it for years
