Best product to clean soft baby items?

I’m looking for something to clean/disinfect soft baby items. Such as a play mat, a soft rattle and security blankets. They were all bought new but were used by our first son. They aren’t really dirty but wanna give them a fresh clean before the baby. What can I use that is safe?

I always threw them in the washing machine with baby sensitive detergent.
