Found out I have PCOS

I went to the Obgyn and a vaginal ultrasound and I was told my right ovary shows signs of PCOS and my blood test shows I’m completely normal with everything. I was told if I want kids I have to take medication to ovulate. 😩 now I’m put on birth control just to regulate my period... too many people I know have PCOS.. like why isn’t there a cure for this shit. And why they don’t know the reasons for what causes it. I been trying for a baby for 4yrs and I get told this 🙃 anyone who has PCOS have any luck getting pregnant without “medication”
