What’s really the correct way to wash cloth diapers?

I’ve been told so much different ways and everyone says different. Some say cold water and no detergent for the pre-wash, then some say warm water and detergent.

Water temp is personal preference, I've always done my pre wash in cold so there's less staining and my main wash in warm. But both washes need detergent. My prewash has 1 line of tide and my main wash has 3.

Go to cloth diaper wash and care on facebook, they are great to orovide a routine that work for you.
Flufflove university usually recommend WAY to much detergent, wich often leads to issuesdown the road. 
You need a little bit of detergent inthe first wash as it serves to take off the big part. At first i used cold water for pre wash but turns out I had smell issues a couple weeks in. I now do warm for prewash and hot water for main wash.
