35 weeker - - just got home
The fear of having such a tiny preterm baby is finally setting in now that we are out of the hospital.
We have to get her weight up or else she’ll be back in the hospital and I’m so terrified to have that happen. So my focus has become all on making sure she eats have 2-3 hours.
We have set up pediatrician appointments and meetings with a lactation consultant and are so focused on making sure she eats every two hours. Both breasts and supplementing with formula. Everything feels terrifying and big and overwhelming.
Of course we are also exhausted. And I’ve yet to even shower after three days in the hospital. Thank goodness for my amazing husband but oh my gosh this all feels so scary.
